Bring God the place where you feel worn down. Ask for strength to continue faithfully, with room for rest and support.
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
A prayer brought before God
After Paul was attacked at Lystra and left outside the city, he rose and continued his journey with Barnabas. They later returned to strengthen the disciples and encourage them to continue in the faith, acknowledging the hardships they would face. Their ministry shows perseverance rooted in faith and care for others, rather than pretending that following Christ is always easy.
Acts 14:19–22Let us pray.
Lord, I bring You the good work that has become difficult to continue.
Renew my purpose where I feel discouraged. Give me wisdom to rest, receive help, and recognise when a different approach is needed.
Help me remain faithful in what You call me to do, without hardening my heart toward others. Sustain me through the next step with hope and love.
Amen.
Carry this assurance with you.
Run with patience the course before you, looking to Jesus. Seek the rest and support you need, and let His faithfulness encourage the next faithful step.
