God is present in the work before you. Bring Him your tasks and ask for strength, clarity and a faithful heart.
Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.
A prayer brought before God
When the king asked what he needed, Nehemiah prayed to the God of heaven before answering. He then asked for permission and practical help to rebuild Jerusalem. The king granted his requests, and Nehemiah recognised God’s good hand upon him. His example encourages us to pray, prepare and act with trust in God’s wisdom.
Nehemiah 2:1–8Let us pray.
Lord, meet me in my work today.
Where it feels small, remind me nothing done in love is wasted.
Where it feels overwhelming, order my steps. Let integrity, focus, and kindness mark how I show up.
Amen.
Carry this assurance with you.
You serve the Lord Christ. Offer Him the task before you with a willing heart, trusting that He sees your faithfulness.
