Pause with the decision before you. Ask God for wisdom, a willing heart and the patience to follow His leading.
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
A prayer brought before God
Paul and his companions found that the Spirit prevented them from travelling into places they had planned to visit. At Troas, Paul received a vision of a man asking for help in Macedonia. They understood this as God’s call and went there to share the gospel. Their journey reminds us to hold our plans humbly and remain willing to follow God.
Acts 16:6–10Let us pray.
Lord, I place my plans and questions before You.
Help me listen to Your Word and seek wise counsel. Keep pride and fear from deciding for me.
Give me patience when the way is unclear, courage when a faithful step is needed, and humility when my plans must change. Lead me in truth and love.
Amen.
Carry this assurance with you.
