Make a little room to remember who God is. Turn your heart toward His holiness, His mercy and His faithful love.
Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
A prayer brought before God
After being beaten and imprisoned, Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises to God, while the other prisoners listened. An earthquake opened the prison doors, yet they remained and helped the frightened jailer. They spoke to him and his household about the Lord Jesus. Their worship and care for others show faithfulness even within hardship.
Acts 16:22–34Let us pray.
Holy God, I praise You for Your mercy, Your faithfulness, and the love You have shown in Jesus Christ.
Lift my eyes beyond my own concerns so I can remember who You are.
Let my words honour You and my life reflect Your goodness. Receive this simple offering of praise from the heart You know.
Amen.
Carry this assurance with you.
The Lord is good, His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures through every generation. Let His goodness be the foundation of your praise.
