Bring the people you love before God. Let His love steady your heart and guide the way you care for them.
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
A prayer brought before God
Jesus prayed for His disciples and for those who would come to believe through their message. He asked the Father to draw them into a unity rooted in the love of the Father and Son. His prayer reminds us that our relationships matter to God and invites us to seek His help in loving with truth and grace.
John 17:20–23Let us pray.
Father, I lift up the people closest to me — those I love easily and those I struggle to love.
Give me patience where I am tired, honesty where I have been avoiding, and kindness where I have grown cold.
Bind us together in truth and grace.
Amen.
Carry this assurance with you.
God calls us to kindness, tenderheartedness and forgiveness, grounded in His forgiveness in Christ. Ask Him to nurture these gifts in your relationships.
